Detecting when Items are destroyed

Is there a way for Aris detect when an Item is destroyed, and how would I do that?

Not through the standard UI, no. But instead of marking the item as destroyable, you could use a conversation or plaque to (from the player's point of view) accomplish the same thing by having that object take the object away from the player (using an event). Then, you could also add a hidden item to the player (a note that the item had been destroyed) at the same time.
